Zahradní stavby

Gabions are building elements made of wire baskets filled with stones. They are used as one of the options for stabilising slopes. In the composition, they constitute a significant visual element, thus it is important to be careful when choosing the type and size of stone.

Wooden constructions

Wood as an easily accessible natural material has a wide range of uses in all types of landscaping, whether in private gardens or public spaces. Each type of wood has its specific properties, which affect its possible use.

Retaining walls

Retaining walls are a frequent element in landscape architecture. They are usually designed of a maximum height of 1.2 - 1.5 metres, dry stone walls only up to a height of 0.6 metres.

Staircases are used to compensate for bigger terrain differences. They should be comfortable and safe. Their shape, colour and material enrich the architectural composition.

Tiled surfaces are used especially in urban architecture in public spaces. Not only the kind of material, its surface and colour, but also the method of laying the paving significantly affects the overall perception.

Water elements

Water and water elements sensitively used in the architectural composition enhance the positive aesthetic effect. "The sound of the water of small streams evokes feelings of the satisfaction of primary needs and a very positive and blissful feeling of security and confidence." (Carl Gustav Jung)

Gazebos and pergolas

Small garden buildings have a predominantly recreational and relaxing function. They also increase an aesthetic value of the architectural composition.
